Keller Heritage Center 2018 Events

  • May 12, 1-4 p.m. The Panorama Gem and Mineral Club will discuss the geologic formation of our area, various rock artifacts in the Native American display, our mining display, and the rock displays showing the wide variety of minerals in the area.
  • May 26, 1-2 p.m. Jim Bannon will discuss the logging and forestry in our area and the items displayed in that exhibit. (This is a change from the advertised event.)
  • June 9, 1-2 p.m., Barry McCombs will cover the new Illicit Commerce exhibit and bootlegging in Stevens County.
  • June 23, 1-4 p.m. Charles Lamica, Boulder Creek Saddle Shop, will demonstrate old-time leather working techniques.
  • July 14, 1-2 p.m.  Brian Fahey will explain the uses of the various hardware in our hardware display.
  • July 21, 1-2 p.m. Ann Morton will discuss the old-time quilts on display in the Learning Center, some going back to the mid-1840s.
